In this SkillLab, we’ll explore how to create a minimalist, screw-free plant stand using our Mekanika CNC machines. You’ll learn how flat-pack furniture is designed for easy assembly — no glue, no hardware, just clever cuts and clean fits.

We’ll look at:
* The principles of flat-pack furniture design
* How CNC cutting patterns translate into precise, interlocking parts
* How to adapt and customize designs for different materials or dimensions
* Tips for choosing the right wood types and thicknesses for CNC milling

You’ll leave with:
* A complete digital cutting file of the plant stand
* Assembly instructions and notes for customization
* The confidence to design and make your own CNC flat-pack furniture

This workshop is theory-based with live demonstrations — we’ll cut a sample piece together, but you’ll create your own version later at your own pace in the makerspace.
