Learn how to bring your ideas to life with precision and speed!

In this one-hour hands-on introduction, you’ll discover everything you need to safely and effectively use our Monport Effi 16S CO2 laser cutter.

After completing this session, members can use our machine independently.

You will learn:
* How to set up and operate our Monport laser cutter safely
* The basics of LightBurn, the software used to prepare and control your designs
* Which materials are suited to be cut on a CO2 laser cutter and which ones are available directly in our on-site shop
* How to select appropriate settings for engraving and cutting
* Where to find resources to deepen your knowledge and improve your results

This is a guided demonstration — we’ll cut a sample piece together so you can observe every step of the process.

Schedule & Language:
* Held every other week
* Sessions are either in English (EN) or German (DE), depending on the participants preference that day.
The other language is always accommodated.

For non-members:
Non-members are welcome to join to learn more about what’s possible with laser cutting and to explore our makerspace.
